An elegant integrated solution.

PeroCycle has been developed to provide a low cost pathway to decarbonisation of the foundation industries, particularly steel production.

The process takes existing gases from a blast furnace (BF), basic oxygen furnace (BOF) or DRI plant and uses commercial gas separation technology to produce a high concentration CO2 stream, for processing through our thermos chemical reactor.  The reactor operates at around 800oC and through the use of a proprietary active material, converts CO2 into CO for injection as a reductant into the blast furnace.  In doing this, we create a sustainable carbon loop that at full implementation, can abate up to 90% of carbon emissions from an integrated steel miil.
